Pinot Grigio, like other wines, has a recommended serving temperature. The aromas of Pinot Grigio are significantly enhanced when sipped chilled. Temperatures of 48 degrees Fahrenheit are optimal for all varieties of Pinot Grigio, even frizzante Pinot Grigio. The wine's characteristics will be masked if it is served too cold or too warm. To achieve this temperature, cool the wine in the fridge for two to three hours prior to actually serving, and then allow it to rest at room temperature for around ten minutes before serving. Alternatively, you may freeze the wine for around 20 minutes and then cool it in a fast wine chiller for 10 minutes before serving. One could acquire wine temperature thermometers to check the temperature changes of their wines before serving them if you would like to be specific about serving temperature. One would get more mineral, floral, fruity, and citrusy characteristics off your wine if you consume it at 48 degrees F.
